Borrow a minute to make 60 more seconds

17:94
- 6:58
______
11:36

The sums of the minutes and seconds separately are

208:66

66 seconds becomes 1:06 and added to the minutes we get

209:06

209 divided by 60 gives us 3 hours and 29 minutes so the final answer is 3:29:06.
